From Houston’s north side Dj Naturally Obtained Skillz, or Dj N.O.S. for short, jumped on his first set of turntables in 1997. Since 1999, he has been some of Houston’s most popular venues to date. His distinct style of scratching, live remixing and blending classic party anthems that spans over multiple genres from Electronic, Hip-hop, 80s, Pop and Classic Rock makes him a top self performer.
Dj N.O.S. is predominately known for his turntable-listic style of scratching, juggling and seamless mixing that demands attention. No matter what the genre. He often times even combines genres through live remixing and mash ups. As times continue to change Dj N.O.S. adapts as well adding to video mixing to his live performances.
N.O.S. still resides in Houston TX, but has entertained across the country. In Atlanta, Florida, NYC, Virginia, San Francisco just to name a few. He has also shared the stage with Outkast, Jagged Edge, Richard Vission, Felix Da Housecat and others. He also caught the attention of Nordstrom and Lucky Strike Lanes, and dj companies like Audio Innovate, and American Audio.
Even though some has never seen N.O.S. perform live, his mixing continues to reach thousands with his online radio and downloadable podcasts. his influence doesn’t just stop at the speakers either, Dj N.O.S. input has helped with the design of the infamous Innofader, and various products from American Audio.
